As Architectural Staff Level One, you'll assist in the development and coordination of residential design work, supporting both the architectural team and project managers. You'll help prepare plans, elevations, and details, and contribute to client selections and visual presentations. This is an ideal opportunity for someone ready to grow their design career while contributing meaningfully to real projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support material and finish selections with mood boards, layouts, and visual aids
- Attend and document showroom appointments alongside clients
- Update internal systems (Asana and SOP tools) with selection and pricing data
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to verify product availability and timelines
- Draft architectural drawings in Chief Architect, including trim, cabinetry, and lighting layouts
- Conduct site visits to verify design implementation and address installation issues
- Help produce marketing visuals and content aligned with company branding
- Assist with furniture orders, budgets, and product research
- Maintain timely client communication within project management software
- Participate in early-stage consultations and project wrap-ups
- Look for opportunities to streamline processes and improve client experiences
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience in residential design or architecture preferred
- Proficiency in Chief Architect is essential
- A strong eye for design with practical understanding of residential scale and function
- Confident in space planning and coordinating selections within client budgets
- Positive communicator with professional client interaction skills
- Comfortable using tools like Asana or similar platforms
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable under multiple deadlines
- Must hold a valid NC driver's license and be available for site visits
